December 29, 2022: Cave Junction, OR 97523 The Illinois Valley Cougars (Cave Junction, OR) basketball nipped the visiting Sutherlin Bulldogs (Sutherlin, OR), 58-53 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Rogue Valley Adventist (Medford, OR). The Red Tail Hawks go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Rogue Valley Adventist was tipped by Crane (Crane, OR), 58-45, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Amity for a non-league test on Friday, December 30. Sutherlin will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 54-42 non-league loss to Gold Beach (Gold Beach, OR). The Warriors record now stands at 4-4.
