Oregon High School Basketball - Illinois Valley topped by Gold Beach
January 24, 2023: Gold Beach, OR 97444 The Gold Beach Panthers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Illinois Valley Cougars to 47 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bandon for a 2A Valley Coast contest on Thursday, January 26. Gold Beach will battle a Tigers team coming off a 54-51 league win over Oakland (Oakland, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 12-7.
The Cougars (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Reedsport (Reedsport, OR). The come into the 2A Valley Coast contest with a 1-13 record.
