February 17, 2023: Gold Beach, OR 97444 The Gold Beach Panthers (Gold Beach, OR) basketball knocked off the visiting Bandon Tigers (Bandon, OR), 55-39 in Friday's league test.
The Panthers (22-4) will now prepare for their test against Oakland (Oakland, OR). The Oakers go into the 2A Valley Coast test with a 20-5 record. In their last test, Oakland notched a victory over East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR), 31-28, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 17-9 record. They play next when they travel to East Linn Christian Academy for a 2A Valley Coast test on Saturday, February 18. Bandon will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 31-28 league loss to Oakland (Oakland, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 21-5.
