Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) and the host Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA), saw McIntosh County Academy's basketball squad overcome Islands by a tally of 51-39.

With the victory, McIntosh County Academy improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Savannah (Savannah, GA) to confront the Bluejackets in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Bluejackets come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Savannah won 71-62 in their recent non-league challenge against South Effingham (Guyton, GA)

Next up, the Sharks confront the South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Islands will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 71-62 non-league loss to Savannah (Savannah, GA).
