Texas High School Basketball - Mountain View thwarts Kermit

The Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Kermit Yellow Jackets (Kermit, TX), 50-40 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lobos (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Fort Stockton went down by Denver City (Denver City, TX), 67-37, in a non-league test.

The Yellow Jackets now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Horizon for a non-league test on Thursday, December 15. Kermit will encounter a Scorpions squad coming off a 60-25 non-league win over El Paso Academy West (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 7-5.
