In Friday's non-league match, the host Austin Panthers basketball team scored a good 80-61 triumph over the Kermit Yellow Jackets.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 17. Austin will attempt to better on its 10-8 season record. The Matadors enter the match with a 7-9 record after their 87-34 non-league win over Alpine (Alpine, TX).

With the defeat, Kermit moves to 6-8 on the year. The Yellow jackets travel to Midessa (Odessa, TX) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Saturday, December 17.
