The Lake Norman Christian Storm (Davidson, NC) basketball nipped the host Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC), 87-84 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Storm (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Liberty Preparatory Christian (Mooresville, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Liberty Preparatory Christian was tipped by Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC), 53-42, in a non-league test.

The Raptor now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Davidson Day for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 27. Mountain Island Charter will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 68-53 non-league loss to North Hills Christian (Salisbury, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 0-10.
