Connecticut High School Basketball - Trumbull can't hold off Masuk
December 15, 2022: Monroe, CT 06468 The Masuk Panthers basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Trumbull Eagles to 48 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shelton for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Masuk will battle a Gaels team coming off a 61-60 non-league win over Sheehan (Wallingford, CT). The Gaels record now stands at 1-0.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Amity Regional was nudged by Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT), 88-38, in a non-league contest.
