In Thursday's non-league match, the host Vanguard College Prep Lions basketball team scored a decisive 63-31 triumph over the Waterford Wildcats.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Bret Harte Bullfrogs (Angels Camp, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 16. Vanguard College Prep will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record.
