Kansas High School Basketball - Chaparral overwhelmed by Sterling
December 15, 2022: Sterling, KS 67579 The Sterling Black Bears basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Chaparral Roadrunners to 40 in the Black Bears non-league victory on Thursday.
The Black Bears now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Inman for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Sterling will battle a Inman Teutons team coming off a 54-46 non-league loss to Conway Springs (Conway Springs, KS). The Inman Teutons record now stands at 2-4.
The Roadrunners (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Remington (Whitewater, KS). The Broncos come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Remington was routed by Cheney (Cheney, KS), 42-27, in a non-league contest.
