Kansas High School Basketball - Sterling crushes Trinity
January 20, 2023: Sterling, KS 67579 Sterling Black Bears (Sterling, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Trinity Celtics (Hutchinson, KS), 59-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sterling upgrades its record to 3-10 on the season. The Black Bears host Remington (Whitewater, KS) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Remington won 33-26 in their recent non-league bout against Riley County (Riley, KS)
Next up, the Celtics play the Smoky Valley Vikings (Lindsborg, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 52-49 non-league win over Kingman (Kingman, KS).
