Alabama High School Basketball - Hewitt-Trussville knocked off by Hillcrest

December 15, 2022: Tuscaloosa, AL 35405

The Hillcrest Patriots basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Hewitt-Trussville Huskies to 38 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to River Ridge for a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. Hillcrest will play a Knights squad coming off a 85-27 league win over Allatoona (Acworth, GA). The Knights record now stands at 9-0.

Next up, the Huskies play the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Hewitt-Trussville will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 13-2 record after their 47-35 non-league win over Central (Tuscaloosa, AL).
