The Lapel Bulldogs basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears to 41 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamilton Heights for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Lapel will meet a Huskies team coming off a 38-20 non-league loss to West Lafayette (West Lafayette, IN). The Huskies record now stands at 10-2.

The Golden Bears (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Blackford (Hartford City, IN). The Bruins enter the non-league contest with a 10-0 record. In their last contest, Blackford nudged Elwood (Elwood, IN), 64-6, in a league contest.
