Vermont High School Basketball - West Rutland crushes Mill River
December 15, 2022: West Rutland, VT 05777 West Rutland Golden Horde (West Rutland, VT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mill River Minutemen (North Clarendon, VT), 88-7 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Rutland upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Golden Horde host Arlington Memorial (Arlington, VT) to confront the Eagles in a Marble Valley - D challenge on Monday, January 2. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Minutemen confront the Twin Valley Wildcats (Wilmington, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 9. Mill River will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
