December 15, 2022: Signal Mountain, TN 37377 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN) and the visiting Whitwell Tigers (Whitwell, TN), saw Signal Mountain's basketball squad overcome Whitwell by a tally of 58-38.
With the victory, Signal Mountain improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Huffman (Birmingham, AL) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Huffman won 40-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Rogers (Florence, AL)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Blacksburg Wildcats (Blacksburg, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 27. Whitwell will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 70-33 non-league loss to Chapman (Inman, SC).
