In Thursday's league match, the host Tri-County Cavaliers basketball team scored a decisive 60-31 triumph over the West Central Trojans.

In their next game, the Cavaliers meet the North Newton Spartans (Morocco, IN) in a non-league match, on Monday, December 19. Tri-County will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 3-11 record after their 48-44 non-league loss to Covington (Covington, IN).

With the defeat, West Central moves to 1-9 on the year. The Trojans travel to Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN) to meet the Senators in a non-league match on Saturday, December 17.
