Nebraska High School Basketball - Bancroft-Rosalie holds off West Monona
December 15, 2023: Bancroft, NE 68004 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers (Bancroft, NE) and the visiting West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA), saw Bancroft-Rosalie's basketball squad hold off West Monona by a tally of 60-59.
With the victory, Bancroft-Rosalie improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Fort Calhoun won 45-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Yutan (Yutan, NE)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Boyer Valley Bulldogs (Dunlap, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 18. West Monona will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 40-37 non-league win over Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA).
