Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bedford Bisons (Bedford, PA), 50-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Dragons travel to Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Chestnut Ridge won 68-29 in their recent league bout against Bedford (Bedford, PA)

Next up, the Bisons clash with the Forest Hills Rangers (Sidman, PA) in a Laurel Highlands bout, on Monday, December 18. Bedford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Rangers go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 60-34 league loss to Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA).
