Edna Karr Cougars (New Orleans, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Booker T. Washington Lions (New Orleans, LA), 50-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Edna Karr upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to Albany (Albany, LA) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Albany lost 41-40 in their recent non-league bout against Northlake Christian (Covington, LA)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Booker T. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record.
