February 8, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70113 The Booker T. Washington Lions basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Eleanor McMain Mustangs to 42 in the Lions non-league victory on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 10-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reed for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Booker T. Washington will battle a Olympians team coming off a 60-45 non-league loss to Hammond (Hammond, LA). The Olympians record now stands at 10-2.
The Mustangs (12-15) will now prepare for their contest against Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA). The Pioneers come into the non-league contest with a 20-8 record. In their last contest, Crescent City Christian prevailed over West St. John (Edgard, LA), 68-41, in a league contest.
