Texas High School Basketball - Braswell winner over Memorial
December 15, 2023: Little Elm, TX 76227 The Braswell Bengals (Little Elm, TX) basketball felled the visiting Memorial Warriors (Frisco, TX), 73-65 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bengals (18-1) will now prepare for their test against McKinney (McKinney, TX). The Lions go into the 6A Region I District 5 test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, McKinney thwarted Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX), 69-35, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Walnut Grove for a 5A Region II District 10 test on Thursday, December 21. Memorial will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 80-40 non-league win over Anna (Anna, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-5.
