Michigan High School Basketball - Climax-Scotts tops Calhoun Christian
December 15, 2023: Climax, MI 49034 Climax-Scotts Panthers (Climax, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Calhoun Christian Cougars (Battle Creek, MI), 57-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Climax-Scotts upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Colon (Colon, MI) to play the Magi in a Southern Central bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Magi come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Colon lost 70-62 in their recent non-league bout against Quincy (Quincy, MI)
Next up, the Cougars play the Will Carleton Academy Cougars (Hillsdale, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Calhoun Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 52-45 league loss to Jackson Preparatory & Early College (Jackson, MI).
