Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) and the visiting Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), saw Western Alamance's basketball squad overcome Cedar Ridge by a tally of 53-41.

With the victory, Western Alamance improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Warriors host Lee County (Sanford, NC) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Lee County lost 73-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklinton (Franklinton, NC)

Next up, the Fighting Red Wolves confront the Southeast Alamance Stallions (Haw River, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Cedar Ridge will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Stallions come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 77-62 non-league loss to Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC).
