December 15, 2023: Lowndesboro, AL 36752 The Lowndes Academy Rebels (Lowndesboro, AL) basketball crushed the visiting Chambers Academy Rebels (LaFayette, AL), 62-39 in Friday's non-league test.
The Rebels (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Lakeside School (Eufaula, AL). The Chiefs go into the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Lakeside School walloped Southern Academy (Greensboro, AL), 71-48, in a non-league test.
The Rebels now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Edgewood Academy for a non-league test on Monday, December 18. Chambers Academy will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 43-40 non-league loss to Fort Dale Academy (Greenville, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-8.
