Washington High School Basketball - Chelan holds off Omak
December 15, 2023: Omak, WA 98841 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Chelan Mountain Goats (Chelan, WA) and the host Omak Pioneers (Omak, WA), saw Chelan's basketball squad hold off Omak by a tally of 59-56.
With the victory, Chelan improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Mountain Goats travel to Cashmere (Cashmere, WA) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A Caribou Trail challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Cashmere lost 66-58 in their recent league challenge against Quincy (Quincy, WA)
Next up, the Pioneers confront the Lake Roosevelt Raiders (Coulee Dam, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Omak will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 90-56 league win over Brewster (Brewster, WA).
