The O'Connell Buccaneers basketball team scored 96 points and held the visiting Chinquapin Burrs to 12 in the Buccaneers league triumph on Friday.

The Buccaneers now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frassati Catholic for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. O'Connell will battle a Falcons team coming off a 65-49 non-league loss to Founders Christian (Spring, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 2-7.

With the defeat, Chinquapin moves to 0-3 on the year. The Burrs travel to Allen Academy (Bryan, TX) to meet the Rams in a TAPPS 2A District 6 match on Tuesday, January 16. The Rams enter the match with a record of 4-7.
