The Kansas Comets basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Colcord Hornets to 54 in the Comets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Comets now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jay for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2.

Next up, the Hornets play the Vinita Hornets (Vinita, OK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Colcord will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 49-42 league loss to Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK).
