Tennessee High School Basketball - Macon County can't hold off Community
December 15, 2023: Unionville, TN 37180 The Community Vikings/Viqueens basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Macon County Tigers to 49 in the Vikings/Viqueens non-league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings/Viqueens now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Hickman County for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Community will battle a Eagles team coming off a 72-43 non-league win over Waverly Central (Waverly, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 6-6.
The Tigers (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Livingston Academy (Livingston, TN). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Livingston Academy nudged Warren County (McMinnville, TN), 68-59, in a non-league contest.
