In Friday's non-league match, the visiting La Plata Warriors basketball team scored a good 59-51 triumph over the Crossland Cavaliers.

In their next game, the Warriors meet the Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD) in a Southern Maryland match, on Wednesday, December 20. La Plata will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.

With the defeat, Crossland moves to 0-4 on the year. The Cavaliers host Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North (Laurel, MD) to meet the Tigers in a Freelance match on Tuesday, December 19.
