January 4, 2024: Upper Marlboro, MD Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South (Upper Marlboro, MD) and the visiting Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD), saw Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South's basketball squad wallop Crossland by a tally of 67-39.
With the victory, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The travel to La Plata (La Plata, MD) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 8. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. La Plata lost 55-24 in their recent league challenge against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD)
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Crossland will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 72-62 league loss to Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD).
