December 15, 2023: Durant, OK 74701 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Edison Eagles (Tulsa, OK) and the host Durant Lions (Durant, OK), saw Edison's basketball squad wallop Durant by a tally of 57-36.
With the victory, Edison improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Coweta (Coweta, OK) to confront the Tigers in a 5A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Coweta lost 57-50 in their recent league challenge against Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK)
Next up, the Lions confront the Holland Hall Dutch (Tulsa, OK) in a 5A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Durant will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record.
