Alabama High School Basketball - Edgewood Academy winner over Sparta Academy

The Edgewood Academy Wildcats (Elmore, AL) basketball felled the visiting Sparta Academy Warriors (Evergreen, AL), 45-34 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Chambers Academy (LaFayette, AL). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Chambers Academy was beaten by Springwood (Lanett, AL), 62-40, in a non-league test.

The Warriors now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Crenshaw Christian Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16. Sparta Academy will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 62-46 non-league loss to Evangel Christian Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Cougars record now stands at 0-7.
