Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Greene County Tigers (Greensboro, GA) and the visiting Washington-Wilkes Tigers (Washington, GA), saw Greene County's basketball squad hold off Washington-Wilkes by a tally of 72-68.

With the victory, Greene County improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Warren County (Warrenton, GA) to play the Screaming Devils in a A D2 Region 8 challenge on Saturday, December 16.
