December 15, 2023: Battle Creek, MI 49014 The Harper Creek Beavers (Battle Creek, MI) basketball felled the visiting Northwest Mounties (Jackson, MI), 58-38 in Friday's league test.
The Beavers (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Portage Central (Portage, MI). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Portage Central went down by Caledonia (Caledonia, MI), 74-71, in a non-league test.
The Mounties now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Jackson for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16. Northwest will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 53-48 non-league loss to Everett (Lansing, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 4-1.
