Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Ridley nips Haverford
December 15, 2023: Havertown, PA 19083 Ridley Raiders (Folsom, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA), 45-41 in a league bout.
With the victory, Ridley upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Raiders host Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA) to play the Aces in a Central bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Aces come into the bout with a record of 6-0. Lower Merion won 42-37 in their recent league bout against Conestoga (Berwyn, PA)
Next up, the Fords play the Garnet Valley Jaguars (Glen Mills, PA) in a Central bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Haverford will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 43-30 league loss to Upper Darby (Drexel Hill, PA).
