Washington High School Basketball - Kelso overwhelms Mountain View
December 15, 2023: Kelso, WA 98626 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Kelso Hilanders (Kelso, WA) and the visiting Mountain View Thunder (Vancouver, WA), saw Kelso's basketball team triumph over Mountain View by a score of 72-31.
The Hilanders now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethel for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Kelso will battle a Bison team coming off a 73-60 league loss to Emerald Ridge (South Hill, WA). The Bison record now stands at 1-4.
The Thunder (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against East Valley (Spokane, WA). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, East Valley was routed by Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA), 80-41, in a non-league contest.
