In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Leechburg Blue Devils basketball team scored a tight 69-64 triumph over the St. Joseph Spartans.

In their next game, the Blue Devils meet the Jeannette Jayhawks (Jeannette, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 3 match, on Tuesday, December 19. Leechburg will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Jayhawks enter the match with a 5-2 record after their 57-54 league win over Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA).
