Missouri High School Basketball - Maranatha Christian Academy nips Northland Christian
December 15, 2023: Kansas City, MO 64155 Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles (Shawnee, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Northland Christian (Kansas City, MO), 61-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Maranatha Christian Academy upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Cair Paravel (Topeka, KS) to play the Lions in a Kaw Valley bout on Friday, January 5. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Cair Paravel lost 68-67 in their recent non-league bout against Northland Christian (Kansas City, MO)
Next up, the play the Bishop Ward Cyclones (Kansas City, KS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Northland Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Cyclones come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 61-60 non-league loss to Hayden (Topeka, KS).
