The Mitchell Kernels basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Stevens Raiders to 41 in the Kernels league triumph on Friday.

The Kernels now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rapid City Central for a AA contest on Saturday, December 16. Mitchell will battle a Cobblers team coming off a 53-27 league loss to Huron (Huron, SD). The Cobblers record now stands at 0-3.
