December 15, 2023: Granite Falls, MN 56241 In Friday's non-league outing, the Montevideo Thunderhawks (Montevideo, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Yellow Medicine East Sting (Granite Falls, MN), by a count of 81-25.
The Thunderhawks (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against New London-Spicer (New London, MN). The Wildcats go into the AA Section 3 outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, New London-Spicer smashed Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN), 69-59, in a league outing.
The Sting now hold a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Renville County West for a A Section 3 outing on Tuesday, December 19. Yellow Medicine East will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 75-32 league loss to Canby (Canby, MN). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-4.
