Illinois High School Basketball - St. Joseph-Ogden overwhelms Normal University
December 15, 2023: St. Joseph, IL 61873 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) and the visiting Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL), saw St. Joseph-Ogden's basketball squad wallop Normal University by a tally of 77-47.
With the victory, St. Joseph-Ogden improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin won 55-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Bethesda Christian (Brownsburg, IN)
Next up, the Pioneers confront the MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) in a Central State Eight challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Normal University will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 75-45 league win over Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL).
