Illinois High School Basketball - Normal University can't hold off Pecatonica
December 28, 2023: Pecatonica, IL 61063 The Pecatonica Indians basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Normal University Pioneers to 55 in the Indians non-league victory on Thursday.
The Indians now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph-Ogden for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Pecatonica will battle a Spartans team coming off a 66-40 non-league win over Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 11-1.
The Pioneers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL). The Rockets come into the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Rock Falls was nudged by St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL), 66-40, in a non-league contest.
