Florida High School Basketball - Somerset Academy South Homestead nips Palmer Trinity

Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes (Homestead, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Palmer Trinity Falcons (Miami, FL), 52-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Somerset Academy South Homestead upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Braddock (Miami, FL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Braddock won 80-56 in their recent non-league bout against Homestead (Homestead, FL)

Next up, the Falcons play the Homestead Broncos (Homestead, FL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Palmer Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Broncos come into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 80-56 non-league loss to Braddock (Miami, FL).
