North Carolina High School Basketball - Smoky Mountain ripped by Pisgah
December 15, 2023: Canton, NC 28716 The Pisgah Bears basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Smoky Mountain Mustangs to 27 in the Bears league triumph on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Enka for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 19. Pisgah will meet a Jets team coming off a 68-48 non-league win over Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Jets record now stands at 4-4.
The Mustangs (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Asheville was routed by Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC), 58-44, in a non-league contest.
