Massachusetts High School Basketball - Waltham nudges Shrewsbury
December 15, 2023: Waltham, MA 02452 Waltham Hawks (Waltham, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Shrewsbury Colonials (Shrewsbury, MA), 57-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Waltham upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hawks travel to Acton-Boxborough (Acton, MA) to clash with the Colonials in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Colonials go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Acton-Boxborough won 63-59 in their recent league bout against Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA)
Next up, the Colonials clash with the St. Paul Knights (Worcester, MA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Shrewsbury will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 71-61 non-league loss to Grafton (Grafton, MA).
