Missouri High School Basketball - West Nodaway knocked off by South Holt
December 15, 2023: Burlington Junction, MO 64428 The South Holt Knights basketball team scored 59 points and held the host West Nodaway Rockets to 51 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DeKalb for a Highway 275 contest on Tuesday, December 19. South Holt will battle a Tigers team coming off a 51-41 league loss to Northeast Nodaway (Ravenwood, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 2-5.
The Rockets (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] (Tarkio, MO). The enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] ran past Union Star (Union Star, MO), 51-20, in a league contest.
