Missouri High School Basketball - Mound City/Craig nips West Nodaway
February 9, 2024: Mound City, MO 64470 Mound City/Craig (Mound City, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting West Nodaway Rockets (Burlington Junction, MO), 50-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mound City/Craig upgrades its record to 6-11 on the season. The host Northeast Nodaway (Ravenwood, MO) to play the Blue Jays in a Highway 275 bout on Monday, February 12. The Blue Jays go into the bout with a record of 3-21. Northeast Nodaway lost 43-36 in their recent non-league bout against Stewartsville (Stewartsville, MO)
Next up, the Rockets play the St. Joseph Christian Lions (St. Joseph, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. West Nodaway will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 16-6 record after their 84-72 league win over North Andrew (Rosendale, MO).
