Mississippi High School Basketball - Taylorsville can't hold off Union
December 15, 2023: Union, MS 39365 The Union Yellowjackets basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Taylorsville Tartars to 61 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Friday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mize for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Union will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-52 non-league win over Clarkdale (Meridian, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-9.
The Tartars (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Clarkdale (Meridian, MS). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Clarkdale was nudged by Mize (Mize, MS), 58-52, in a non-league contest.
