Washington High School Basketball - Mead nips Ferris
December 15, 2023: Spokane, WA 99218 Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA), 42-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mead upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Panthers host Rogers (Spokane, WA) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 2-0.
Next up, the Saxons play the Moses Lake Mavericks (Moses Lake, WA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Ferris will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 45-30 non-league win over Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA).
