New York High School Basketball - Corinth overwhelms Argyle
December 15, 2023: Corinth, NY 12822 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Corinth Riverhawks (Corinth, NY) and the visiting Argyle Scots (Argyle, NY), saw Corinth's basketball squad wallop Argyle by a count of 43-17.
With the victory, Corinth upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Riverhawks host Fort Ann (Fort Ann, NY) to face the Cardinals in a Section 2 Adirondack III bout on Friday, January 5. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 3-2. Fort Ann won 29-22 in their recent league bout against Argyle (Argyle, NY)
Next up, the Scots play the Hartford Central Tanagers (Hartford, NY) in a Section 2 Adirondack II bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Argyle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Tanagers come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 42-41 league win over Hadley Luzerne (Lake Luzerne, NY).
